Traumatic Birth

A woman's birth story is thought to include the joys of hearing her baby's first cries and seeing it's sweet face as she counts its fingers and toes. The birth process is far from what they dreamt or planned for many women. Whether the experience included premature birth, induction, medical intervention, Cesarean section, other surgery, NICU, or other complications, a woman's loss of her plan and dream for birth can be devastating.
