Maternal and Infant Mortality

Maternal and Infant morbidity and mortality is a complex issue with many factors involved. The history of gynecology has some very dark years of unethical and abusive practices that created mistrust for some women. That combined with a need for trauma-informed care and access to care issues has created some barriers for women who are at risk.

Through years of ongoing education and exploration, we have read and listened to the experiences of women and families facing loss. It is our honor to be a part of the community speaking out to address these issues and bring awareness to the needs of women.
