Meet Our Staff

Robin Atkins graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Psychology from MTSU in 2003 and Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Philosophy from MTSU in 2004. Robin's undergraduate education specialized in Autism Spectrum Disorder. Robin graduated Summa Cum Laude with an M.A. in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2011. Robin received her license as a Mental Health Counselor from Indiana in January of 2016.

Robin Atkins, LMHC, has over a decade of experience counseling various issues, including addictions, spiritual issues, women's issues, abuse, family therapy, and grief. After her struggles with a high-risk pregnancy, extended NICU stay, and miscarriage, Robin has dedicated her time and energy to helping those who struggle with reproductive issues from infertility to infant loss. With grace and compassion, Robin desires to help others who have experienced heartbreak, anxiety, and pain work through their experience and arrive at a place of healing and hope.

Maria, an Auburn University graduate with over a decade of administrative experience, is thrilled to join the team as Robin Atkins’ Administrative Coordinator. Following the devastating loss of her 7-week-old son in 2023, Maria felt called to pursue a law degree, aiming to advocate for families enduring similar heartbreak. This profound experience has ignited her passion for assisting others facing hardship and strengthened her commitment to supporting the loss community. Maria's personal and professional journey shapes her into a compassionate and dedicated advocate for those in need.

Robin is so very grateful to have Maria join the team as a valuable asset in support of families facing difficult reproductive events. Maria not only brings a wealth of experience and knowledge about reproductive loss, but provides much needed expertise in administrative projects and responsibilities. Maria will be managing Ms. Atkins’ calendar, phone and email communications, as well as contributing to educational projects to increase awareness of reproductive trauma.
